Scoutsgiving 2025!
On Sunday, November 16, 2025, Troop 721 held our annual Scoutsgiving celebration at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Odenton. Scouts, adult leaders, family, and friends all came together to enjoy a delicious meal of deep-fried turkey, ham, traditional Thanksgiving side dishes, and desserts. After dinner, we took a group photo of Scouts and friends and played a game of music bingo – complete with prizes! All told, 34 people came to take part in the celebration.

Two deep fryers were enough to fry four turkeys in under two hours!

For many years, Troop 721 celebrated “Thanksgiving in the Woods” as a campout for the whole family, complete with a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. After the COVID pandemic, the Troop decided to modify the event by holding a “campout” behind the Fellowship Hall at the church and renamed it “Scoutsgiving.”
